This excerpt and many other sections of the FDA regs are chock full of misinformation, mistranslations, and speculations. The excerpt highlighted here is the result of our FDA comment period. This was last December (2015). The FDA chooses to call our comments “Consumer Misperceptions”. There are many other non-sensical statements and claims. These regs can’t last, for they have no basis of real science. Read for yourself.
